My Favorite Time of Year!

I would like to just take a post to talk about Fall because it is my favorite time of year!  Nothing is better than beer, candy, pumpkins, and costumes :)  I always pictured getting married in the fall, but because of the time frame that we got engaged it would have been too long of a wait so, I settled for the next best thing...Spring.  Every Fall I have a list of stuff that I MUST do:  Renaissance Festival, Pumpkin Patch/Carving, Decorating my house, and of course the HALLOWEEN PARTY!!    This will be the last year of the party on a "large" scale as we are saying goodbye to the big house this year...the party will continue, of course, but in a much smaller setting (i.e. my little house).  Here are some pictures from past Halloween Parties :)

The Knot tells me it has been 523 days since my wedding!

Even though it has been a long time since my wedding I still love doing things "wedding related."  I try to help out whoever I can with wedding planning and thinking of fun new ideas!  I have been in three weddings so far (my sister's, my sister-in-law's, and my cousin's) not counting my own, of course.  I have two upcoming weddings (my other sister-in-law and a good friend) and I just can't get enough of looking at wedding stuff :)  I figured will all of the stuff I have complied on my computer looking up color schemes, dresses, flowers, reception ideas that maybe I could one day help other people!!

Let's start with color schemes!
The three weddings I have been in all had the color scheme including red and white.  For my sister's wedding, we were in wine colored dresses and held white Japanese flower bouquets.  She did accents of dark blue in the reception site but not pictured:

For my cousin's wedding we were in deep red dresses and held a mixture of red and white roses:

Here are a few pictures from my sister-in-law's wedding.  We were in red dresses and the boys had red accents in their vests.  The bride held a bouquet of beautiful red Gerber daisies and we held white roses and Gerber daisies:

The color scheme for my wedding was midnight, turquoise, and lime and it looked so good together!  The girls were in midnight blue dresses, the flowers were cymbidium orchids in lime green and I did accents with the turquoise:

Here is the color scheme I have been collecting tons of pictures for Hot Pink, Tangerine, and Lemon:

Right now the girls are going to be in hot pink and the boys are going to be in black tuxes with tangerine vests/ties
Nothing says FUN like bright, beautiful colors!

It can be done in a fun and tasteful way and I am very excited to help play with these colors!!

I am exhausted from my lab exam today so...that is all folks (for today!)

XOXO!
